Women are found all throughout the Bible. Not only are they present, but they have purpose. Even in this day and age it’s hard for women to feel valued and appreciated and understood. Sure, we have made great strides as humanity, but there is still work to do.
The great thing about looking at the women of the gospels, is that it takes all kinds. God did not just use a certain type. There were married women, single women, wealthy women, poor women, businesswomen, prostitutes, demon possessed, sick, young, old…does that cover everyone? I hope so because that is the point.
Humanity was created to bring glory to God. That is what we are all called to do in our own unique ways. Isn’t it good to know that there is no previous experience required? There are no background checks, Praise the Lord.
